Have you ever attended a conference and were exhausted from last minute preparations in addition to the stress of traveling, before the conference had even begun? I know what that’s like. I’ve been there. I’ve been so tired that I knew I wasn’t presenting the best version of myself or making the most of my Personal Brand and the connections I’ve made. I’ve even been so run down at the end of that conference that I came home sick. Thank goodness, those days are long gone because I’ve learned a few things. Recently, as I began to prepare for an upcoming conference, I recognized the strategies I’ve developed and decided to put together a video just for you; How to Prepare For a Conference.
The video covers three distinct elements:
Pre-Conference Prep– Here, I’ll tackle how to make packing fun and that you’ll be certain to have everything you need to feel terrific and make the best impression possible. I also cover how to schedule your self-care leading up to your departure date and a few of my favorite travel accessories.
Conference– In this section I address how you can have the smoothest conference (and roommate) experience possible, look polished, feel confident and show up as the best version of yourself. That way you can focus on attracting your ideal clientele and integrating the training you are there for.
Post-Conference– Now that you’ve made a great impression, make it a lasting one. Post-Conference is all about classy follow-up and taking those new connections to the next level before you even get home!
If you enjoyed this video and got value out of it, please share it with your colleagues, business teams, friends and clients — anyone who could use a little support around a powerful first impression in alignment with their personal brand.
